Quiero iniciar este escrito compartiendo que el a\u00f1o 2019, dec\u00eda a las personas que cotidianamente me rodean que el 2020 ser\u00eda un a\u00f1o muy especial, y que pasar\u00edan sucesos muy importantes en mi vida.\u00a0Cuando lo expresaba me sent\u00eda entusiasmada, motivada y hasta pensaba que el tiempo no me alcanzar\u00eda. Lo que nunca pas\u00f3 por m\u00ed mente fue la presencia de un suceso llamado cient\u00edficamente COVID 19, y mucho menos que este me pasar\u00eda una factura depositada en el ba\u00fal de mis recuerdos.<\/p>\n
Hoy en retrospectiva, esos recuerdos me permiten tomar una postura frente a esta situaci\u00f3n. Particularmente y considerando las horas que han pasado a partir de la visita inesperada del \u201cCORONAVIDROS\u201d como ingenuamente lo llama mi sobrina de cuatro a\u00f1os, me llev\u00f3 a pensar desde mi mente racional que los virus hacen parte de la inherencia humana, y que todo organismo es vulnerable de estar expuesto a un agente infeccioso como el que hoy tiene toda la atenci\u00f3n mundial. Despu\u00e9s de este frio discernimiento, tom\u00e9 la decisi\u00f3n de escuchar toda la informaci\u00f3n que rutinariamente llega a mis o\u00eddos, evitando caer en p\u00e1nico, en lanzar especulaciones y evitando hablar m\u00e1s de la cuenta. Debo confesar que no ha sido f\u00e1cil quedarme en silencio, pero en esta ocasi\u00f3n aprovech\u00e9 este mutismo para confrontarme, y llegu\u00e9 a la conclusi\u00f3n de que este nuevo escenario me ha servido para agudizar mis sentidos, especialmente la vista y el o\u00eddo.<\/p>\n
Me siento agradecida porque a trav\u00e9s de estos dos valiosos sentidos, he podido reconocer y honrar la fragilidad que nos caracteriza y que hoy nos conecta sin importar ning\u00fan tipo de distinci\u00f3n cultural, social, econ\u00f3mica, f\u00edsica, y espiritual. Uno de los aspectos que m\u00e1s me llama la atenci\u00f3n en esta nueva condici\u00f3n de vida, es poder ver las diversas reacciones de la gente cuando enfrentan el d\u00eda a d\u00eda, algunas responden de manera pesimista, temerosa, irascible, nost\u00e1lgica y renuente, mientras que otras optan por la fe, la motivaci\u00f3n, la valent\u00eda, el optimismo y la perseverancia.<\/p>\n
El punto al que quiero llegar es que, ninguna de estas reacciones merece que le demos una etiqueta buena o mala, positiva o negativa; pienso que son actitudes que hacen parte de la naturaleza ling\u00fc\u00edstica de cada persona, y que hoy est\u00e1n siendo expuestas sin ninguna desconexi\u00f3n emocional, frente a la emergente sensaci\u00f3n colectiva llamada incertidumbre que crece con las respuestas externas que cada minuto generan la certidumbre, de que se est\u00e1 procediendo r\u00e1pidamente para salvaguardar la vida y evitar un desorden econ\u00f3mico. A la luz de esta informaci\u00f3n cada persona genera sus propias expectativas y realidades que son manifestadas a trav\u00e9s de expresiones como \u201cla resiliencia\u201d, \u201cla renovaci\u00f3n\u201d, \u201cla reorganizaci\u00f3n\u201d, \u201cla transformaci\u00f3n\u201d, el poder de \u201creinventarse\u201d, \u201cla ilusi\u00f3n\u201d, \u201cel amor\u201d, \u201cel apoyo humanitario\u201d, \u201cel cambio\u201d y muchas m\u00e1s. Pero tambi\u00e9n es importante comprender y valorar las manifestaciones que traen un componente totalmente adverso a este.<\/p>\n
Frente a los comentarios, especulaciones, iniciativas\u00a0y declaraciones que actualmente escucho, sigo sosteniendo la premisa de que cada persona reacciona desde su lenguaje privado, entendido este como lo que cada individuo tiene en su mente, en su coraz\u00f3n y en sus bolsillos. Las consecuencias del COVID son un hecho real para la vista de todos los que a\u00fan seguimos con vida, pero la manera como lo percibimos, interpretamos, comunicamos y reaccionamos, es donde est\u00e1 la gran diferencia y todas son merecedoras de respeto e inclusi\u00f3n. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

En este repentino panorama no s\u00e9 qu\u00e9 vendr\u00e1, pero lo que estoy observando es que hay una alta inclinaci\u00f3n por adoptar una actitud de \u201cpredictores del futuro\u201d, y quiero evitar cualquier tipo de prejuicio que repele contra esta postura, porque la predicci\u00f3n ha sido importante en algunas decisiones que he tomado a lo largo de mi vida. No obstante, y desde mi propio devenir, creo que el futuro se construye con los actos que hagamos hoy; lo que est\u00e1 pasando es una\u00a0realidad o una mentira que ma\u00f1ana puede no ser igual o dejar de existir,\u00a0todo depender\u00e1 del observador.<\/p>\n
En este punto quiero resaltar que esta situaci\u00f3n me sirvi\u00f3 para decidir darle el primer lugar a mi esencia, porque con este suceso comprend\u00ed que la vida no se traduce en el tiempo que vivimos, sino en lo que hacemos con el tiempo, y son diversas las actividades que en la cotidianidad realizamos y que hacen parte de las decisiones que constantemente tomamos, pero hay algunas que siempre dejamos rezagadas y no le damos la importancia que merecen, y de repente en esta situaci\u00f3n, aparecen voces internas que gritan que, en esta nueva d\u00e9cada hay que escuchar m\u00e1s hacia dentro y permitirnos vivir cada segundo haciendo lo que nos dignifica y le da sentido a nuestras vidas, puede que no sea la panacea para afrontar la incertidumbre que nos une, pero puede que para algunas personas el universo ten\u00eda reservado este momento, y lo necesit\u00e1bamos para dejar fluir lo que llevamos por mucho tiempo aplazado. Resalto que no es una tarea f\u00e1cil, porque es disponer de un espacio consciente y en silencio para sacudir los \u00e1ngeles y demonios que nos acompa\u00f1an, y que seguir\u00e1n siendo los testigos de todos los antagonistas que, en ocasiones, limitan y derrumban el verdadero papel protag\u00f3nico que puede ser nuestro salvador en tiempo de \u201ccrisis\u201d.<\/p>\n
Este es otro momento que probablemente para las actuales generaciones y las que est\u00e1n por llegar, sea un tema de conversaci\u00f3n, puesto que una de las leyes universales dice que todo tiene una causa y un efecto, y que, as\u00ed como los sucesos tienen un comienzo, tambi\u00e9n tienen un final. Hoy quiero extender mi final, y no me cansar\u00e9 de decirle a nuestro visitante COVID 19: \u201c\u00a1Gracias!, llegaste para movilizarme hacia otros lugares; tambi\u00e9n despert\u00e9 y comprend\u00ed que a lo mejor no hay otro momento para dejar salir la m\u00fasica que llevo por dentro\u201d. Termino este escrito resaltando que la incertidumbre por estos d\u00edas est\u00e1 consumiendo una buena parte de nuestra energ\u00eda, pero es importante decidir si le permitimos que nos limite o nos movilice a descubrir otros terrenos internos, que nos inspiren y nos motiven para tener intacta la ilusi\u00f3n de perseverar m\u00e1s que desesperar.<\/p>\n
